Payment Options

 For you convenience, Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative offers several options for members to pay their electric bill.

 

 

 

  • Return Envelopes
    A return envelope is included with each electric bill.  Please enclose the bottom portion of the electric bill with your payment and affix the correct postage.
  • Night Drop Box
    Dongola Office located at 7420 US Highway 51 South, Dongola, IL 62926
    Massac Office located at 2652 Old Highway 145, Metropolis, IL 62960
  • Credit/Debit Cards
    Credit/Debit card payments are accepted at our Dongola office as well as by phone and online (see below).  Cards accepted are American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
  • Pay-By-Phone
    To pay by phone, members can call 1-800-762-1400 and select option 2.  Credit and debit cards are accepted.
  • Smarthub
    Smarthub is a secure online payment option that allows members two choices.

    1. Members may register by creating an account and password.  This option allows you to return using your login credentials.  Here, you have the option to save your payment information as well as review payment history, usage history, other beneficial data about your account.  If you are a first time user, click Online Bill Pay to register.  If you are a returning user, click My Account.
    2. Members may also pay their electric bill online using Pay Now without registering and creating an account.  This option requires you to simply use your account number and last name or business name.  No information is saved and account data is not available.
  • Automatic Bank Draft / Credit Card Charge
    This options allows members to set up automatic payment service using their checking/savings account or credit/debit card.  Your payment will be set up to automatically be paid on the due date of your electric bill.  Please contact our office at 618-827-3555 to set up automatic payment services.
