Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative recently awarded Classroom Empowerment Grants to educators’ classrooms at 7 local schools.
This year’s winners are Anna-Jonesboro Community High School (Grace Darmour-Paul), Goreville Unit School #1 (Melissa Darnell), Davie School (Cheryl Ligon), Lick Creed CCSD #16 (Adrienne Trainor), Cairo High School (Ryan O’Shea), Cobden Jr./Sr. High School (Ashley Taylor) and Lincoln School (Gail Webb).
Chris Boyd presented the $500 grants. Congratulations to this year’s winners!
